Common questions

Which welding standards do you certify against?

ISO 3834 (parts 2, 3 and 4), AS/NZS 5131 across CC1 to CC4, EN 15085 for rail vehicles, and DIN 2303 for military products. We also support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 management system certification.

Can you write and qualify welding procedures?

Yes. We prepare welding procedure specifications (WPS) and qualify them (PQR/WPQR) to AS 1554, AS 3992, ASME, ISO, AWS and API, and we perform welder qualification testing to ISO 9606 and equivalents.

Do you provide inspectors and supervisors on site?

We provide certified welding supervisors and inspectors from the commencement of a project through to completion, including site welding and safety audits, ITPs, workshop and site inspection, and weekly surveillance reporting.

Do you run training at our factory?

Yes. All of our courses can be arranged as in-house training at your site, covering WPS and PQR preparation, welder qualification, welding inspection, defects and acceptance criteria, welding symbols, and the specific standards your work is contracted to.
